Due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict that has arisen for the banquet speaker, the Banquet date is rescheduled for Sunday, April 25th, same time of 4:30.
To keep with safety concerns this event will be held in a hybrid setting. In-person outside, all those attending are asked to bring their own lawn chair or via Zoom Link.

Bio for GARY L. URWILER
Gary L. Urwiler is the Executive Director of Mooseheart Child City & School, which is the largest Residential Child Care Facility in Illinois, since January 8th, 2013.
Urwiler had previously served as Superintendent of Education and Principal for the Mooseheart campus’s K-12 school system from August 2003- January 2013.
Gary had previously served Mooseheart as Dean of Students, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach from August 1995 through May 2000 and was the head coach from 2004 to 2014. During this employment at Mooseheart he coached Football, Basketball, and Bowling.
From 1992-1995 and 2000-2003, Gary had been a teacher, coach and administrator with West Aurora, IL School District 129. While at West Aurora, Gary coached Varsity Football (quarterbacks coach) and Girls Badminton.
Gary is a product of the Mooseheart campus that he now leads. He graduated from Mooseheart in 1987. He is originally from Riverside, New Jersey, but moved to Mooseheart in September 1981. He refers to Mooseheart as his “home”. He quarterbacked the Red Ramblers football team to two straight unbeaten regular seasons in 1985 and 1986. Following graduation, he went to Eureka (IL) College—and quarterbacked the undefeated Red Devils, who were ranked 3rd in the nation in Division III and NAIA Division II. During his senior year, he also led the nation in NCAA Division III passing in 1991. Gary has also received the honor of being named “Football Coach of the Year” in 1996 by the Aurora (IL) Beacon News and was named “Chicago Bears Coach of the Week” late in the 2011 season. Gary continues to coach football today as an assistant at Batavia High School.
Gary received a bachelor’s degree from Eureka College in secondary education in 1992, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership with the appropriate administrative endorsements in 2001 from Aurora (IL) University.
Gary and his wife Donna were married at the Mooseheart House of God in 1997. They are the proud parents of three sons: Zachery, Quinton, and Trey.
