Patrick Rogers

     Pat Rogers has always been proud to be from Aurora. Through his service to the community, he is ensuring    that future generations are proud of their Aurora roots.

     After graduating from Aurora East high school, Rogers earned his Bachelors Degree in business from Aurora University. He worked as Director/Manager of Information Technology for Parksite Group, EKCO Housewares, and Lyon Metal Products over a 41-year career.

     Near the end of his career, he began to expand his role at his church by serving two three-year terms on the church council which included one year as the CFO. He has also taken four mission trips to Honduras and Ecuador.

     In 2003 he was asked to volunteer with Rebuilding Together Aurora, an organization that has had a role in transforming the neighborhoods of Aurora by rebuilding/rehabbing over 1,000 low-income homes for seniors, people with disabilities, veterans, and low-income families.  Pat has served as RTA Board President since 2010.

     In part, because of his work with RTA, he was awarded the East Aurora Distinguished Alumni Award in 2015.

     Pat Rogers and his wife of 53 years, Marcie, live in Naperville.
